Recommendation: That the Electoral Area Services Committee recommend to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Board of Directors that they approve $2665.60 from the Electoral Area ‘A’ Gas
Tax apportionment for the South Columbia Search and Rescue to replace seven existing windows with energy efficient windows in the Search and Rescue Hall.

iii) RDKB Status Report - Gas Tax Agreement - July 5, 2011

iv) **LATE ITEM – Staff Report from Bryan Teasdale, Operations Manager, regarding the review of a submitted operating and maintenance proposal from Eco-Tek Ecological Technologies Ltd.

Recommendation:  That the staff report from Bryan Teasdale, Operations manager be received AND FURTHER that the Electoral Area Services Committee recommend to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Board of Directors that the RDKB enter into a contract with Eco-Tek Ecological Technologies Ltd. for the operational and maintenance activities for the Christina Lake Solar Aquatics System in the amount of $20,000 annually for a period of eighteen months (July 1, 2011 to December 31, 2012), being pro-rated in 2011.
