| RDKB 2012 Townhall Meeting Dates
The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Board of Directors invites all RDKB residents, taxpayers and interested individuals to a series of Town Hall Meetings to learn about how Regional Districts operate in general and to listen to information regarding the 2012 Budget and the 2012-2016 Five-Year Financial Plan.
RDKB staff provided information regarding the legislative framework that Regional Districts must abide by, what overall regional services and what specific electoral area services are provided and how much taxpayers pay. Information respecting how levels of taxation are determined will be presented.
This is an opportunity to comment on the 2012 Budget and an opportunity to let your Director know your views and what kind of local government services you want that would make our communities better places to live, work and play. read more ... |
