The following report was prepared at the request of the East End Stakeholders Committee and the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. The East End Stakeholders are the elected representatives of the Kootenay (Greater Trail) communities.
The report contains a possible road map for development of the Trail Regional Airport as presented by SNC Lavalin. The report’s numerous recommendations need careful study to ensure that the right path is chosen. Over the coming months the East End Stakeholders will carefully consider and evaluate each recommendation to ensure that the public interest is best served.
