Ninety percent of residents in the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary receive curbside recycling pickup service.

Recycling materials are picked up every other week with the only exceptions being Christmas and New Years Days. Holiday change notices will be printed in local newspapers in December when changes occur.

How to Use
the Recycling Schedule:

Click on the 2009 Calendar on the right.

1) Locate your neighbourhood on the map
2) Identify the colour associated with your area
3) Your pickup day is the day on the calendar that matches the colour of your neighbourhood on the map.

COMING SOON ! The 2010 Curbside Collection Calendar will be delivered to mail boxes in February 2010. (Your 2009 Calendar contains the months of January & February 2010.)

There are no schedule changes planned for 2010.
